Summer Jam Sessions 2024 (Ages 12-17)
A creative space where students play off the cuff, write songs and arrangements, and receive coaching on playing in a band (and the set-up of the equipment that goes with it).
Students will work on varied material (music that appeals to the group), rehearse and perform with others of a similar age, and write and perform Original Songs.
We usually have a performance on last day for parents/friends but due to covid guidelines, the performance will be recorded with no audience present.
Many teenage students are not keen on learning Classical music, so we offer tuition in rock, pop, contemporary, jazz, blues and many other genres.
Most importantly, we have identified that teens need to play together as a group, to build confidence and share creativity.
