Jonathan Sadlier studied piano for many years under Eoin Garret in Dublin, and having completed his piano grades, he was awarded a Gold medal from the Royal Irish Academy of Music. Jon completed his Hdip. in Music from Griffith College in 2013.

Jon is also a guitarist and vocalist and has being playing professionally for the last 17 years, locally, nationally and internationally. A prolific Songwriter, Jon has released some original music over the years, eg “Ultraviolet”, “Dare to Dream” and had lots of national airplay under various names like Hunting the Brave, The Ambertones and Draft. In 2014 Jon released a charity Christmas single which became the Christmas FM song of the year and raised thousands of euro for Age Action. He now has weekly residencies in various top class venues around Dublin.

Jon loves taking on new students and unlocking their musical potential. He also has a large number of regular students and he revels in guiding them on their musical journey, incorporating vocal and rhythmical aspects to his guitar and piano lessons in a fun and engaging way.

Jon has extensive experience and success working with Teens and runs all the Jam Session Bands at Mezzo Music Academy.

He encourages students to improvise, be creative, and take part in song writing and arranging, fostering creativity, and allowing students to express themselves through their music.

Jon still writes and records music himself, with some solo releases to come very soon.
