Gavin Wynne Acoustic & Electric Guitar Lessons:

Gavin began playing acoustic and electric guitar at the age of 11 and quickly developed a passion for the instrument.

Over the past 15 years, he has been playing in various Irish bands, covering a vast range of musical styles.
Gavin received his Commercial Modern Music degree from BIMM Dublin, specialising in guitar, in 2016.

In 2019, he was awarded first class honours in his Masters Degree in Musicology from UCD, specialising in early jazz.

Currently, Gavin performs with two “originals bands”, playing both guitar and bass, and their material ranges from heavy metal to acoustic folk. He also continues to play bass in a covers band, and has played sold out shows in the Button Factory, Whelans and Workman’s with his own band, Myth.

Gavin is a well-rounded musician with a deep knowledge of music theory, instruments and music as a whole. He likes to take a relaxed approach when teaching, with an emphasis on overall enjoyment for the student.
