Daniel Anthony Vives Lynch Piano, Viola, Voice & Theory Lessons:

Born in Cumbria in north of England and then raised in Belgium, Daniel Anthony Vives-Lynch is an Irish-Catalan composer, chorister, and music teacher who now lives, studies, and works in Ireland.

Daniel began his music education through piano and violin studies in 2007 at The Cockermouth Music School in England until 2010 when he was enrolled at the GAMW Academy for Music and Word in Mol, Belgium. There, he completed nine years of study in piano, viola, music theory, musicology, and composition before coming to Ireland where he completed a Bachelor of Arts in Music and History in 2022. 

He additionally attained the position of non-foundation scholar during his undergraduate studies. He is currently singing with the Laetare Vocal Ensemble and undertaking a PhD in Music Composition at Trinity College Dublin under Dr. Evangelia Rigaki where he is synthesising Irish traditional and contemporary European forms of music.

Daniel has composed and performed works in various combinations of instrumental and choral ensembles, solo and duo compositions, and electro-acoustic compositions. His works have been performed in Ireland, Belgium, and Dubai in concerts, music festivals, and both musical and scientific conferences.
