Dan O’Neill Electric and Acoustic Guitar Lessons:

Dan O’Neill is an award winning Irish composer, orchestrator and music teacher from Dublin offering electric and acoustic guitar lessons at Mezzo.

A graduate from the prestigious Berklee College of Music, for which he won a scholarship to attend, he holds a Masters degree in Scoring for Film and TV. As well as this he attended the Conservatory of Music in Dublin for six years, achieving a both a Bachelor of Music and Masters Degree in Music Composition. During his time at the conservatory he studied classical guitar under John Feeley. He also studied for several years at the Royal Irish Academy of Music under the guitarist and composer Benjamin Dwyer.

While completing his studies in classical guitar, Dan is also adept at playing a vast range of different styles. These range from: Jazz, Blues, Funk, Folk, Rock and Pop. He teaches primarily electric and acoustic guitar, ukulele, bass guitar and music theory. He also teaches privately and prepares students for their Junior/Leaving cycle practical and written examinations.

A former Feis Ceoil winner, Dan works from his home studio on Film and TV projects ranging from short films to TV productions both in Ireland and abroad. As a performer Dan has played in many bands over the years, ranging from wedding bands, cover bands, original groups and solo projects. Currently he plays regularly with a four piece band travelling around the country doing weddings and other corporate gigs.
