Amanda Feery Piano Lessons:
Amanda Feery is a composer and musician, having graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a B.A in Music, and M.Phil in Music and Media Technologies. She has recently moved back to Ireland, after spending 4 years in the U.S, completing a PhD in Composition at Princeton University under the Mark Nelson Scholarship in Music.
Amanda began piano and theory studies aged 8 and started clarinet aged 11 with the Tullamore Town Marching Band, performing piano as choral accompanist and clarinet in school and university orchestras. At Princeton, she studied harp and voice. She has taught piano and theory privately and at the Dublin School of Music.
Through composition, Amanda has written for a number of Ireland’s leading ensembles, including the RTE National Symphony Orchestra, RTE ConTempo Quartet, Chamber Choir Ireland, Crash Ensemble, and Dublin Guitar Quartet. Awards include the International Alliance of Women in Music Composition Prize, Sean O’Riada Composition Prize, Jerome Hynes Composition Prize, and West Cork Chamber Music Festival Composer Award.

She is also part of the faculty at the Royal Irish Academy of Music, as Assistant Lecturer in Music Analysis, History, and Harmony.

We offer private tuition with 30/45/60 minute 1 on 1 lessons as well as group tuition for Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar, Bass Guitar, Keyboard, Recorder and Violin.
